Pyramid Solitaire is a popular pairing type Solitaire card game. This game also known as Solitaire 13.

Pyramid is a one deck (52 cards) solitaire card game. Object of the game is to remove all cards from the tableau in pairs.

Tableau consists of 28 cards in a Pyramid shape. The name Pyramid Solitaire originated from this shape of the tableau. Each card is overlapped with two bottom cards. A card is considered as Free only if there is no overlapping cards on top of it. You can play with only free or exposed cards.

You have to remove free cards in pairs whose total value is 13. That is the reason some people call it as solitaire 13. Valid pairs are Queen and Ace, Jack and Two, Ten and Three, Nine and Four, Eight and Five, Seven and Six. King can be discarded as a single card in it is exposed. To remove a pair click on the first card and then click on the second card. Some variations implement drag and drop type too. In that case you can just drag the first card to second card then it will be removed from the tableau automatically.

Pyramid Solitaire also contains one stock and one waste pile. Click on the stock pile to deliver a card to waste pile. Top card of the waste pile is available for play. Standard Solitaire 13 game has no redeals.
